Condensation is inevitable in compressed air systems. There is always a “by-product” of compressed air production and it spreads into the compressed air network. About two-thirds of the condensation is produced by the post-cooler. The rest happens anywhere in the network where the compressed air cools. This problem is inherent in the system and can cause damage and higher operating costs. The solution is a condensate evacuation system adapted to the quantity actually produced. This will reduce costs and prevent damage.
